Seasonal Jobs

While we all have assigned responsibilities, everyone’s #1 job at Kennicott Glacier Lodge is to help our Guests enjoy their visit to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park.

We currently have the following seasonal jobs available for summer 2025.

Server

Server for a busy, friendly restaurant. Breakfast is served as a buffet, lunch is short order from a menu, and dinner is served family style with one seating at 7pm. Must be 21 years or older and service oriented. Two to three years experience is preferred but not required. Alaska alcohol server training and Alaska food worker card required prior to beginning employment. See full description

Dishwasher

This person helps maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and food storage areas primarily by washing dishes. See full description

Facilities Maintenance

This is a skilled maintenance position that performs a variety of tasks to make sure our facilities function smoothly and look great.  Position dates are early May to late September. Wage DOE.

Duties may include: 1) assisting with opening the Lodge in the spring and closing in the fall 2) repairing and maintaining plumbing, electrical, power, and water systems 3) repairing small appliances 4) painting, drywall repair, and light carpentry.  Must be 25 years or over and have valid driver’s license.  Several years maintenance experience is required.
