Glacier Hiking and Ice Climbing

The Root Glacier is one of the few easily accessible glaciers in Alaska and it is just a 2 mile hike from our lodge. Half day and full day guided glacier hikes and ice climbing trips take you right onto the glacier so you can explore the moulons, fathomless blue pools, and crevasses of this glacial river of ice.
