Kennicott Glacier Lodge is a great place for bringing groups or holding special events - such as family reunions, retreats, weddings, and meetings. We have 35 guest rooms and can accommodate up to 80 guests at a time. The Recreation Hall across the street is a perfect venue for large gatherings up to 150 people.

Weddings

This is the perfect place for an Alaska destination wedding. We have held many successful weddings in the past from small, private ceremonies, up to 120 person reception dinners.

The North Lawn, overlooking the Kennicott Glacier and with views of Mt. Blackburn, is a beautiful place for wedding ceremonies. Our Chefs are capable of satisfying most any food request, and depending on the size of the wedding party, we can serve the reception dinner in our dining room or the Recreation Hall across the street provides a great venue for a catered meal or reception. We have also catered appetizer receptions on our North Lawn and held pre wedding dinners.

There are activities available in Kennicott for everyone in your wedding party including glacier and alpine hiking, flight seeing, rafting, and historical tours.

Since every wedding is unique, we have not put together wedding packages. We do offer discounts on lodge rooms for parties of 10 or more and we are happy to discuss meal and room pricing. We can also help coordinate or give suggestions on transportation to and from Kennicott.
